Today No Circulate: Restrictions for May 6th

On Tuesday, May 6th, all vehicles in Mexico City with a pink sticker, license plate ending in 7 and 8, and those with hologram 1 or 2 must remain in custody due to the implementation of the Hoy No Circula program. This restriction also extends to 18 municipalities in the State of Mexico, including Atizapán de Zaragoza, Coacalco de Berriozábal, Cuautitlán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Chalco, Chicoloapan, Chimalhuacán, Ecatepec de Morelos, Huixquilucan, Ixtapaluca, La Paz, Naucalpan de Juárez, Nezahualcóyotl, Nicolás Romero, Tecámac, Tlalnepantla de Baz, Tultitlán, and Valle de Chalco.

Regarding the question of whether there will be a double Hoy No Circula, it is clarified that this will not be the case this Tuesday, as air quality has not presented relevant issues and the Megalopolis Environmental Commission (CAMe) has not issued an alert for poor environmental conditions. The program is activated only in case of environmental contingencies to reduce pollution.

Vehicles that are allowed to circulate on Tuesday, May 6th include: electric cars, hybrids, those with ecological plates or exempt hologram, those with hologram "00" or "0", vehicles of healthcare workers with a valid ID, ambulances, school transport, funeral processions, cars for people with disabilities with the permit to exempt the Hoy No Circula, public service vehicles, motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass, and cars with stickers of red, blue, yellow, and green colors.
